Pricing

Plans and prices — free for up to 5 people with every feature, then US$ 19 for 10, US$ 35 for 20, US$ 75 for 50 and US$ 129 for 100. A paid plan buys more people and nothing else, and every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial.

Two things stated up front, before you install. The app does not send email: what is waiting for a decision is shown on the Waiting for you tab, with the number on the tab itself, so nothing depends on a notification arriving. And it records sick leave as a leave type, which is health-related information about your staff — the Privacy Policy and the DPA say exactly who can see it and who cannot.

Who makes this

Leave & PTO Tracker is made and supported by Saoirse Software, an independent software maker in Ireland. It exists because monday.com lets a person put an absence on a board and stop there: there is no entitlement, no balance, no approval, no carry-over from last year and no public holidays. Teams end up keeping the real numbers in a spreadsheet beside the board.

The part of this app that is hard — the balance engine — was not written for this marketplace. It comes from an existing product of ours, ported across unchanged with its automated test suite. That is why the balance counts half days, skips weekends and public holidays in 17 countries, carries unused days into the next year and tells you the number of working days before a request is sent — without anyone maintaining a cell in a spreadsheet.
